I was born in Pittsburgh PA, raised in a Roman Catholic home, and at the age of 19 was humbled and brought to faith in Christ. I married my beautiful wife, Kelly, at age 19 and we were blessed with 5 children who serve Christ around the US. I lost my wife in September, 2018 to Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS). I will welcome my 23rd grandchild and I am sure there will be many more to come! I am a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls PA, and Westminster Seminary in CA and I’ve served as a Teaching Elder in the PCA for the last 30 years. I worked as a Port Missionary in Savannah GA, planted a church in CO, and have served as a pastor.
In my free time, I love to try to keep up with my sons on the ski slopes, enjoy reading, traveling, and like to play racquetball. I also support the Pittsburgh Steelers and cheer for them with my large, Italian family.
I am glad to be a part of the ELI team and it is a privilege to leverage my life, experiences, and ministry background to equip leaders who are advancing the cause of Christ internationally. I am excited about this open door to train pastors, teachers, and leaders who influence thousands of people in their own country. It is a joy to channel resources, to build up the Church, and I’m delighted to develop leaders in under-resourced places.
